About
Introduction
I help organizations navigate complex IT environments by combining technical understanding, operational experience and an independent perspective.
My background spans technical, operational and leadership roles, giving me experience across both technology and the organizations that depend on it. I enjoy working where complexity, structure and sound decision-making matter, helping clients navigate challenges with clarity and confidence.
How I work
I believe good advice starts with understanding the problem rather than promoting a predefined solution. Every organization has its own goals, constraints and priorities, and recommendations should reflect that.
My approach is analytical, structured and pragmatic. I value facts over assumptions, long-term outcomes over quick fixes, and solutions that can be understood, maintained and successfully adopted by the people who use them.
Areas of experience
My experience includes enterprise service management, IT operations, organizational leadership, process improvement and digital transformation.
I have worked with organizations where governance, reliability and operational excellence are business critical. That experience allows me to bridge the gap between technical implementation, operational reality and strategic objectives.
Beyond consulting
Alongside my consulting work, I develop software and technology for a fully automated astronomical observatory. The project combines software engineering, automation, electronics and systems integration in a demanding real-world environment.
It also serves as a platform for exploring new ideas and technologies, with the long-term ambition of making both software and astronomical imagery available to a wider audience.
While very different from enterprise consulting, it reflects the same qualities that I bring to client engagements: curiosity, analytical thinking and a focus on building reliable, practical solutions.
